General note
Elk Cove Vineyards’ origins start with the emigration of Pat and Joe Campbell to the foothills of the Coast Range Mountains near the town of Gaston, Oregon, in 1974. They arrived with a small trailer, a run-down, abandoned building and the land they purchased to grow grapes. The Campbells built Elk Cove Vineyards into one of Oregon’s notable wineries, and as of 1995 the winery is run by their son Adam.
